Kristen Anne Bell (born 1980) is a famous American actor and singer. The parents of Kristen Bell were Tom Bell and Lorelei Frygier and both are television news directors. Bell was raised and born in Huntington Woods Michigan. The mother of Kristen is Polish and her father is German, English Irish and Scottish. Kristen found her talent in the world of entertainment at a young age. Her role was as Raggedy Ann in 1992 after attending her first audition. Bell received an agent who was appointed by her mother at the age 13 and she was subsequently hired as a model on newspapers and television commercials. Also, she began private acting classes at that time. Bell was in a role of minor importance without credit in Polish Wedding (1998), in 1998. Bell went to Shrine Catholic High School and was a member of the music club and the drama club. She won the starring role as Dorothy in the school's production of The Wizard of Oz. Bell then moved to New York City, to the Tisch School of the Arts. She studied musical theater there. Bell quit university in 2001 to take on the character of Becky in the film Tom Sawyer. The same year she appeared in Pootie Tang, but the scene in which Bell appeared was cut. As a result, only her credit sequence exists. Bell was seen with Angela Bettis and Liam Neeson in 2002's Broadway revival of The Crucible.
