Mary McCormack is an American actress known for her leading roles in the TV series 'Murder One", 'The West Wind', 'In Plain Sight' as well as 'Loaded'. In addition to her roles in films which include "Private Parts", "Deep Impact", "True Crime" and 1408. McCormack was born in a home without any entertainment connection whatsoever in her family tree is the child of a clinical therapist and the proprietor of an ice cream parlor. Following the separation of her parents, she went to Trinity College Hartford, Connecticut. In 1990, after having graduated from Wardlaw-Hartridge School with a BA in English, she was awarded a degree. The career of the actress started at the twelve years old when she appeared in a stage production a Christmas opera titled 'Amahl and the Night Visitors'. She continued performing at the theater as well as landing roles both on the small screen and big. McCormack has been recognized as being one of Hollywood's best-known and most versatile performers. Michael Morris (producer/director) is McCormack's husband. They have three daughters.
