Linda Edna's parents are businessmen Wayne David Cardellini and Lorraine (Hernan). She was born in Redwood City in California. Linda is Italian (from her maternal great-grandfather), Irish (from her mother), German, English, and Scottish origins. Linda was born in the San Francisco Bay region, California being the eldest from four children. It was as a ten year old when she was cast in a singing role for the annual Christmas show at school. She did school and community shows. Linda attended Saint Francis High School in Mountain View, California. Following her graduation she had to make a decision which one she would prefer to relocate into New York or Los Angeles and study theater. Linda decided to move to LA. Lily James was born Lily Chloe Ninette Thomson (5 April 1989). She has a profession as an English actor. Her professional career started in 2010 with the British television show Just William, in which she studied at London's Guildhall School of Music and Drama. After her success as Lady Rose MacClare on the period drama Downton Abbey between 2012 and 2015 Her first big break was in the fantasy movie Cinderella in 2015. James went onto portray the Countess Natasha Rostova, in the version on television of War & Peace, in 2016 and starred several films. This includes the action film Baby Driver (2017) and the period dramas Darkest Hour (2017) and The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society (2018 and 2021) as well as the musicals Mamma Mia! Here We Go again (2018) and Yesterday and Yesterday in 2019. Her role in the role of Pamela Anderson was recognized with the Golden Globe nomination and a Primetime Emmy Award.
