Awkwafina
Awkwafina is an American actor and musician. Her first release was hilarious, intelligently composed music that tackled questions of racial identity and sexual orientation. Later, she broadened her fans to Hollywood. Nora Lum began her musical path as a trumpeter. Born in Forest Hills Queens, she was the daughter of Chinese immigrants as well as Korean immigrants. Jazz, classical and hip-hop education began when she was just a teenager. While at school, she majored in journalism and women's studies at college, even studying Mandarin in Beijing during a brief time. After graduating, it wasn't until that she turned her attention towards music. Following her viral success through the Internet, her My Vag song My Vag was a reaction to the Mickey Avalon song My Dick. It eventually was included on the debut album Yellow Ranger. The album also contained also were viral songs like Queef (body-positive) as well as NYC Bitche$. The latter track connected directly to another project, Awkwafina's NYC A travel guide that was released in the year 2015. After a successful career as a musician She chose to assume the character of actress. In addition to early shows such as Girl Code and Tawk she was also in films such as Neighbors 2. Storks and Bad Rap. In 2018, she scored major roles in a variety of high-profile films such as Dude Ocean's 8 and Crazy Rich Asians. That June she issued the EP in Fina We Trust.
